I was invited last week to and open house/phase 2 launch party at Blu Zen on Caye Caulker. I had seen it from the water taxi and on private boats, but this time I had a chance to get up close to this new development.
Blu Zen currently consists of a five-bedroom beach house, 21 two-bedroom condominiums, and 2 three-bedroom penthouses north of the split on Caye Caulker. Included in this portion of the build is a 50,000 gallon pool, a restaurant, and bar. Prices for phase 1 started in the low $250KUSD range.
Phase 2 will include and additional 24 two-bedroom condominiums, and 2 penthouses. This phase will also include a lap pool, gym and spa, a coffee and juice bar, and a mini market.
Phase 3 will include 23 additional condominiums, a conference and events catering center, a pool, and bar.
This development sits on the reef side of the island allowing you spectacular views of the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world.
