Red Day Project
Every year in May, Keller Williams Realty agents around the world gather for volunteer projects giving back to their communities. This is known as "Red Day". This year, Keller Williams agents that are in Belize, will be gathering in the southern part of Stann Creek (a district in Belize) in a village named Cowpen.
This year, agents with Keller Williams will partner with The Rotary Club of Placencia to create a Library/Resource Center and Kitchen at the San Juan Bosco Primary School. We have already gathered over 500 children's books and brought them into the country.
I will be heading south this week to participate in the volunteer work. Although Red Day is a single day, this project is going to be worked for several months and will be completed before the start of the new school year. If you have any available money, please help out by donating to the cause. It doesn't have to be much as a little goes a long way down in Belize.

DigiCell Has New Home in San Pedro
DigiCell, which for last few years has had its office in the Wings Plaza by the airport, has moved back into its original newly renovated office by the police station on Pescador Dr. I thought that with the new location, they might be open on Saturdays, but it doesn't seem like they are ready to extend their operating hours just yet.

At the end of April, Tripadvisors gave out Travelers' Choice Awards. Tripadvisors is the world's largest travel guidance platform. While the above list only shows the ranking of places on Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye, here is a link of an article by Breaking News Belize that have the winners all over the country of Belize. Ambergris Caye has been climbing the charts for many categories, including top Honeymoon Destination Worldwide. This year the island moved up to 14th spot from the top worldwide. In addition, Ambergris Caye came in 18th place in the Best of the Best Nature Destinations category.
